The Seedlings Programme
For Emerging Facilitators
The NDB Seedlings Program is designed specifically for those who want to grow their skills set to lead more effectively in a group setting.
If you want to add facilitation to your CV then the Seedlings Programme is a safe, fertile environment to grow your skills and confidence. You will be working with Michelle Howard of Collaborations (Australia).
Michelle is an internationally accredited facilitator and author with over thirty years of experience working in diverse group situations. She was featured on the workshops work podcast, on episode 43.
What we will explore
- PURPOSE: Planning and establishing clear purpose. (March)
- PROCESS: Aligning your process and approach with intended outcomes. (April)
- PARTICIPATION: Supporting inclusive and engaging participation. (May)
- PRESENCE: Preparing yourself to be responsive and work confidently with whatever the group throws at you! (June)
Twice per month, March - June
Each month we will have a ‘green house’ workshop together as a group to explore a key theme, then later in the month, a guest will join us to share their wisdom and experience on the same topic.
In the spirit of NDB this is a guided peer learning experience, together we will explore these key topics, attend as many of the sessions as you feel is appropriate to your own learning needs.
